Cabot Financial, a market leader in debt purchase, has been accredited with Bronze status by Investors in People in recognition of the positive way in which they have harnessed the skills of their employees in working towards and achieving the company’s goals.
The Bronze award is presented to those organisations that have been found to have achieved a minimum of 26 additional evidence requirements, over and above what is required for Standard accreditation. Cabot Financial was in fact found to have achieved 37 additional evidence requirements.
Cabot Financial was initially assessed and achieved Investors in People accreditation in June 2007, followed by a reassessment in June 2010. The Investors in People assessor spent 6 days within the business, randomly selecting 10% of the workforce for interviews. This comprised employees at all levels and from all business areas, including both new and long-term employees.
Commenting on the new bronze status, Ken Maynard, CEO Cabot Financial said: “The Investors in People Bronze status we have achieved is a fantastic endorsement of the fact that Cabot Financial is an employer of choice with a strong focus on its people. We know that our employees are our greatest asset and work hard to ensure that we recognise their efforts and achievements.
“We are pleased to have secured bronze status and our ongoing commitment to improving our business performance means that we will continue to evaluate and improve, with the aim of achieving Silver status at the earliest opportunity.”
