Genpact (NYSE: G), which manages business processes for companies around the world, announced the appointment of Miguel Angel G. Gonzalez as Country Manager for Genpact Philippines. Miguel will spearhead the delivery of Genpact’s processes from Philippines, while also tapping the potential that the region has to offer.
Genpact Philippines is one of the recent additions to Genpact’s global operations centers and has within a year established itself as an important center with a great talent pool for the company’s financial services business.
Miguel has more than 25 years of experience in various multinational, government and domestic financial institutions and banks. He started his career with Dynatech and went on to do stints with Citibank, Land Bank and UnionBank. In his last stint with the UnionBank of Philippines, he spent a total of 13 years, initially as First Vice President for Corporate Bank and later as the Senior Vice President for Credit & Risk Management.
Miguel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Philippines and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila.
