A debt collection agency in the United Kingdom is going into voluntary liquidation as a part of its integration with NCO Europe, a Preston, Lancashire-based unit of NCO Group.
Complete Credit Management (CCM) will dissolve and be absorbed by NCO Europe.
NCO’s acquisition of the firm, announced in 2009, was said at the time to present NCO “a unique opportunity to continue its expansion into new sectors of the European market.”
In a statement provided to Credit Today, NCO Europe said, “management have reassessed the fixed asset investment carrying value of the investment in Complete Credit Management Limited and have recognised an impairment charge of £523,000.”
CCM is a collection agency focused on recovery work for businesses in the U.S. and Australia and has been in business for 20 years.
