CR Software LLC (CRS), the leading financial software solutions provider to collections entities, announces today the introduction of its latest addition to the CRS Collection Resource System, the Cellular Validation Module (CVM).
The Cellular Validation Module prevents unauthorized cell phones from being called by the Mercury Predictive Dialer. The module also alerts your team of mobile phone numbers that do not have authorization to call and will not allow auto-dialing or manual dialing of those numbers through the software. This is the only product today that checks these numbers in real time. Automated daily updates from multiple phone data sources allow for the most up-to-date data and minimizes the risk of calling an unauthorized mobile number.
Cellular Validation Module Features:
- CVM checks for mobile phone numbers from a national database in real time when accessing accounts in the CRS Collection Resource System.
- This database is updated DAILY from multiple national data sources with all of the changes for mobile to land-line and land-line to mobile numbers.
- The system verifies phone numbers in REAL TIME every time a consumer is pulled up and when the Mercury Predictive Dialer attempts a call.
- Phone numbers that are highlighted in the Collector Station will be blocked from autodialing or manual dialing from within the software.
- The unauthorized phone numbers are not discarded, but are available for indexing/finding records on the system or for future use once authorized.
- The module works on all master record, extended master record, auxiliary record and phone database phone number fields.
- CRS maintains a database of all base mobile phone numbers, as well as the daily changes that are distributed automatically to all users of CVM.
- Users can be granted access by defaults in the system to update flags in the Collector Station program on each phone number to authorize calling cell phone numbers or to block calling of ANY numbers (Do not call list).
“As many people are aware, recent court activity has raised the issue of requiring consumer authorization before calling cellular phones for the purpose of collecting a debt,” said Edz Sturans, President of CR Software. “CR Software is compelled to respond to this change in the industry and offer our customers the ability to comply with any new rulings. It is just one more way to give our customers peace of mind so they know their software is working for them.”
