Optio Solutions and CrossCheck Raise Funds for American Cancer Society Relay For Life

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Optio Solutions, LLC., an accounts receivable management company, and CrossCheck, Inc., a national payment approval and guarantee company, announced a donation of over $7,500 to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.  Employees for the two companies participated in the 24-hour relay event and raised funds through team sponsorships and company events. The event was held in Petaluma, California on September 25 and 26, 2010.

This was the second year that we participated as a team with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life and the company interest was enthusiastic. Employees for the two companies raised funds by donating to “dress down” days, bake sales, parking raffles, recycling and a penny drive. The CrossCheck/Optio Solutions team members took turns walking and running the track over a 24-hour period starting Saturday morning. Seventy-five teams participated in the Petaluma Relay For Life event and raised over $219,000. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life events are held throughout the US and in 19 other countries.
