Collection Law Firm JB&R Receives Family Friendly Award

Javitch, Block & Rathbone (JB&R) has received the Family Friendly Award from the Ohio Women’s Bar Association (OWBA).  The award, now in its sixth year, honors Ohio’s legal CLEVELAND, employers who best exemplify a commitment to work/life balance and ensure that the firm’s attorneys are able to care for their families while pursuing successful careers.

JB&R has made a continuous effort to remain a firm that supports the family life of their 49 lawyers and affords opportunities for personal and professional growth.  Although JB&R has grown rapidly and has four locations, they make it a priority to maintain that corporate culture.

Through the years, as times and needs changed, managing partners and human resources have made a concerted effort to map out  plans to attract and retain talented male and female attorneys and support staff, and encourage their work/lif e balance.  The H.R. manager also works closely with employees to ensure procedures and practices address their needs as they change.  JB&R has 49 lawyers.

JB&R’s practices focus in the areas of retail and commercial collections, creditor bankruptcy representation, commercial and creditor litigation, landlord representation, and insurance subrogation.  They are one of the largest creditor rights firms in the country, handling matters throughout the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
