AUSTIN, Texas — Gila Corporation, in an effort to reinforce the company’s brand – Experience, Execution, Ethics, took the time to train its entire management staff in ethics training. “Gila Corporation prides itself on its ethical collection practices for its clients and we want to constantly reinforce ethical behavior in all we do,” said Patrick J. Swanick, Chief Executive Officer of Gila Corporation. Gila Corp. brought in speaker Greg Graham to conduct an off site seminar entitled, "The Three Chairs of Personal Ethics — In Which Chair Do You Sit?"
“As the company continues to grow and be recognized for our high level of ethical collection practices, it is essential that we challenge our leadership staff to evaluate their own personal ethical code of conduct,” said Swanick. All management were challenged to assess where they sit regarding personal standards of ethics as well as the ethical degree in which business practices are conducted.
The company’s entire management team comprised of all executives, management and key personnel from both the Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) and Gila Group business units were in attendance. “Conducting training like this not only challenges our employees, but also emphasizes to our clients that we are serious about ethics. Ethical collection practices are a top priority at all times, and we take necessary steps to align the entire company,” Swanick added. Gila Corp has committed to train its entire staff including all collectors in the Fall of 2009.
