Executive Bio: Erin Jacobs

Erin brings more than 17 years of information technology and information security expertise to UCB. Erin is responsible for providing technical security services to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UCB’s information systems and data assets. Prior to her work as Chief Security Officer, Erin served as Director of Information Security and Network Services at the oldest accounts receivable firm in Chicago where she developed the IT infrastructure, security and policy from the ground up. Her unique experience lies in the fusion of collection operation management knowledge and the ability to conjoin security with operation initiatives. She has also worked in various professional and consultant capacities for Ernst & Young LLP and Accenture; including technology, infrastructure services, security operations, and customer and agency call centers. Erin holds a B. A. degree in Management from Columbia Chicago and is in pursuit of her Masters of Science in Information Security Management from SANS Institute.
