MoneyGram International to Offer ?PaynCash? Cash Payment Solution for BillingTree

MINNEAPOLIS — MoneyGram International (NYSE: MGI), a global leader in the payment services industry, announced an agreement with BillingTree®, a leading on-demand payment processor. Via the agreement, MoneyGram will provide same-day, cash payment services at MoneyGram’s approximately 35,000 agent locations nationwide under the brand name BillingTree PaynCash™.

BillingTree provides billing organizations, healthcare providers and financial lenders a gateway to a range of options for accepting payments such as ACH and credit card via online, IVR/VRU, MOTO and more. The addition of MoneyGram’s walk-in, cash payment solution rounds out BillingTree’s suite of payment services, giving consumers another option when it is necessary to pay in cash or to make a last-minute payment.

BillingTree’s new relationship with MoneyGram enables its billers to collect cash payments through MoneyGram’s vast network of retail locations found in national grocery, pharmacy and convenience store chains including Albertsons LLC, CVS/pharmacy and Walmart. The guaranteed cash payments are reported to the biller in real-time via MoneyGram’s proprietary payment tracking technology.
