Executive Bio: Robert J. Philbin

Bob Philbin is president of TSYS Acquiring Solutions and executive vice president of TSYS.

As president of TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Bob uses his extensive banking and financial expertise to generate strong business results for the wholly owned affiliate of TSYS. Philbin brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial management experience to TSYS Acquiring Solutions, having most recently served as chief financial officer.

Before joining TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Bob served as senior vice president, finance and strategy, for Global Cash Access, a leading provider of cash access, financial management and customer relationship marketing technologies for the gaming industry. He was controller for Xoriant Corporation, a global provider of professional information technology services. Prior to Xoriant, Bob spent sixteen years with First Data Corporation as director of tax, vice president and chief financial officer for international operations, vice president and chief financial officer for retail credit card processing, corporate vice president of finance and business development, and senior vice president and chief financial officer for First Data joint ventures.

A graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Philbin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

Bob currently serves as a member of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) Presidential Advisory Board.
