Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. (WWR) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Partner Theresa A. Weinberg to the position of partner-in-charge of Client Relationship Management. WWR Associate Amy Clum Holbrook will now manage WWR’s Legal Action Recovery department.
Ms. Weinberg has practiced in the area of consumer collection litigation for over 13 years and previously managed WWR’s Legal Action Recovery Department. She has extensive experience in servicing major collections and debt buying clients. Ms. Weinberg will be working closely with Cindy Darwal, the Firm’s Director of Quality and Client Services and Peter Winzig, Director of Marketing and Corporate Development to further improve the Firm’s performance, service levels, and client satisfaction. In addition, she will be creating a coordinated approach to the Firm’s new business development activities. Ms. Weinberg received a B.A. cum laude from John Carroll University in 1989 and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1992. A member of the Ohio State, Cleveland Metropolitan and Ohio Women’s Bar Associations, Ms. Weinberg is licensed in the state of Ohio and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of Ohio). Ms. Weinberg is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and the Northern Ohio Credit Association. She is also a member of the Debt Buyer’s Association and the Ohio Creditor’s Attorney Association. In 2006 and 2007 she was recognized as an Ohio Rising Star by Cincinnati Magazine. Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of Dress for Success (Cleveland) which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and career development tools. Ms. Holbrook, previously a lead associate in the Legal Action Recovery department, will now take over the leadership role in this department.
