Gatestone & Co. International Inc. today announced the appointment of Mary Jo Lambert-Terry as a Vice President.
Mary Jo brings approximately 20 years of experience within the educational loan and institutional receivables sectors, and has a diverse background in sales, business development, and marketing. In her new role, Mary Jo will contribute to the growth and support of Gatestone’s educational Accounts Receivable Management and Business Process Outsourcing client base.
Executive Vice President Dan Parks stated, “We are ecstatic that Mrs. Terry has joined Gatestone, and I am confident in her ability to expand our first- and third-party market share within the education and servicing verticals.”
In addition to servicing the Department of Education through direct and sub-contracted relationships since 2004, Gatestone provides collections services to a number of universities, colleges, and grantors of associated loans. This segment of the company’s business has increased significantly in recent years, and, given the level of related experience within their executive team, is a focus area for further growth. Gatestone’s other portfolios encompass large financial institutions, telecommunications and utilities providers, healthcare facilities, and related entities.
Mary Jo commented, “With the loan default rates continuing to increase, there is a greater demand for accounts receivable and call center services within the education marketplace. Gatestone is providing me the opportunity to work with a strategically focused company with a stellar reputation and performance integrity.”
