Executive Change: David Sharp to PaySimple as VP of Business Development

PaySimple, a provider of payment management solutions for businesses, is pleased to announce the addition of David Sharp to its management team. David, formerly of Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), is now the Vice President of Business Development and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Denver, CO.

David is a veteran in the payment processing industry, most recently serving as Vice President of Business Development for the Western Region of Global Payments. He brings to the company an impressive knowledge of market development, as well as senior management skills. As a member of the PaySimple team, David will build and manage the horizontal market strategy to broaden the company’s sales distribution network.

As Vice President of the Western Region for Global Payments, Sharp was responsible for managing sales and business development activities for Global Payments’ merchant acquiring and network processing services for the ISO, processors, and financial institution marketplace. Prior to joining Global in 2000, David managed the southeastern sales territory for TransFirst, offering agent bank processing to the community bank market. David currently serves on the Western States Acquirers Association advisory board, as well as the Awards and Recognitions Committee for the Electronic Transactions Association. David Sharp earned his BA in International Business from the University of Georgia.
