Penncro Associates Recognized as Local Employer of Excellence 2012

Penncro Associates, Inc. was recently recognized for its contributions as an outstanding employer in the Brazos Valley (Texas) by Workforce Solutions.

Penncro was named the 2012 Local Employer of Excellence by the Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley Board. This award recognizes the private sector employer whose efforts and initiative resulted in a significant positive impact on the local area.  Employers receiving this award have demonstrated leadership by making outstanding contributions to the individuals utilizing workforce services in the local communities.  The significant positive impact includes other employers, workers, and the community.  Mr. Paul Crowley accepted the award on behalf of Penncro Associates.

Penncro opened its call center in Bryan, Texas in January 2011, hiring over 300 employees in the first year.  Penncro’s primary business in this office is providing Customer Relationship Management and Home Retention Services for a Top Global Banking Institution. In 2011, Penncro was recognized as Employer of the Year in the Brazos Valley by Workforce Solutions.

Penncro has also been nominated by the Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley Board for the respective Texas Workforce Commission award at a statewide level.

The Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley Board (WSBV) is one of 28 local workforce development boards throughout the state that comprise the Texas Workforce system.
