Due to the Financial Supervisory Authority’s decision to withdraw NGM’s license, Lennart Laurén has decided to step down as Intrum Justitia’s Regional Managing Director for Scandinavia and Managing director for Intrum Justitia Sverige AB.

Lennart Laurén is resigning his positions and has decided to take a leave of absence until further notice.

“My judgment as the former chairman of NGM has been called into question in specific formulations in the Financial Supervisory Authority’s investigation. Naturally, I do not want this question of confidence to affect Intrum Justitia and my work as Regional Managing Director for Intrum Justitia in Scandinavia,” says Lennart Laurén. ”In consultation with Intrum Justitia’s CEO, Michael Wolf, I have therefore decided that the best solution for both me and my employer is that I immediately resign my positions as Regional Managing Director, Managing director for Intrum Justitia Sverige AB and a member of the Group Management Team.”

The acting Regional Managing Director for Scandinavia and acting Managing Director of Intrum Justitia Sverige AB will be the Director of Group Business Development, Mats Göransson.
