San Diego-based Inland Capital Services has begun operations as a third party debt collection agency, catering to debt buyers and credit issuers.
Jerry Greenblatt will serve as president and CEO of ICS and plans to use his twenty plus years of collection industry and debt buying, knowledge and experience, coupled with his existing relationships to maximize liquidation of purchased debt portfolios for debt buyers.
ICS is a member of both The California Association of Collectors and ACA International. The company is already taking placements of accounts and will focus on Credit Card and Consumer Loan Collections for Debt Buyers as wells as service charged off accounts for direct originators and provide consulting services to its clients.
Mr. Greenblatt attended the City University of New York, Staten Island. Throughout his career he has helped companies increase collection rates by hundreds of thousands of dollars per month, while reducing both operating and personnel costs.
Starting his career as a telephone collector, he has been successful over the past 20 years in the credit, collection and investigative field for both third party collection agencies and issuers of credit in the New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C. and California with an emphasis on business development and collection and legal systems implementation.
His resume includes credit and collections leadership in companies such as Moody’s Investor Service, DataQuick Information Systems, and The Nationwide Collections Department as well as various collection agencies and his last role as an executive for a nationally recognized debt buyer.
He has served as a panelist and presenter for state and national association programs and is an active member of The California Association of Collectors, where he served as chair of the Legislative Council. He also served CAC as its Chapter 4 president, and was a member of the association’s Education Committee, and Strategic Planning Group. Jerry has received the Presidents Award and Gus Cohen Hershey Award from the CAC and currently serves the association as member at large.
