RMS, a leader in global business process outsourcing (BPO) and recovery services, is moving to the next phase of their multi-national Asia-Pacific service hub. Designed to support RMS clients worldwide who are based out of, or doing business in, the growing Asia-Pacific markets, the hub structure provides for the servicing of a wide variety of receivable management and back-office applications. RMS India in conjunction with RMS Hong Kong, form the core of the operations by cooperatively providing services in English, or the regional language of each country, with the incorporation of proprietary web-based workflow tools.
“RMS’ ability to provide a cost effective, efficient, and high quality service alternative, through a coordinated global network of offices and personnel, continues to drive the expansion of our global footprint,” stated David Huebner, RMS Chief Executive Officer.
When looking into future growth and expansion, RMS examines a combination of market indicators as they relate to the company’s existing customer base and prospective growth. The business strategy and development plans to service global and multi- national opportunities, was the driving force behind the creation of this hub strategy for RMS in the Asia-Pacific Rim region a year ago. To accommodate the business expansion, RMS India has moved into a new independent facility in Gurgaon, one of four major satellite cities of Delhi. In addition to the ramp up in India, coordinated Asian servicing has continued to grow with RMS Hong Kong as the other South Asia portion of the service strategy.
“We are very proud of the quality of work and skill sets brought to us by the associates who have joined our RMS team here in India,” said Anil Kumar, RMS India Chief Operation Officer. “This is what continues to enable us to grow and expand our role in the company’s global vision.”
Deborah Ho, RMS Hong Kong’s Managing Director affirmed, “We are very pleased to be an integral part of these Pacific Rim hub operations. The opportunity to service our customers keeps expanding and we eagerly look forward to continuing to meet, and exceed, these challenges.”
In addition to recovery services, the Asia-Pacific hub operations also provides back-office support and services required by clients in niche market segments such as Finance and Administration (F&A). RMS currently maintains over 23 bases of operations worldwide with a global workforce looking to grow to 3,000 in 2008.
RMS, headquartered in Bethlehem, Penn., has operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, India and Hong Kong. Since 2005, RMS has been a portfolio partner of Citi Venture Capital International.
