MINNEAPOLIS – International leaders in the world of b2b collection and
b2b collection agency work are gathering once again to discuss the most important issues facing the industry.
The
International Association of Commercial Collectors (
IACC) is an international trade association comprised of more than 240 collection specialists and 160 commercial attorneys. With members throughout the U.S. and in 20 international countries, IACC is the largest organization of commercial collection agencies and commercial collection specialists in the world.
“We’re part of a fast-growing segment of the debt collection industry and our expertise is needed now more than ever,” said IACC President Bill Mann. “In this economy, with the rising tide of bad debt threatening to drown businesses large and small, our members are busy rising to the challenges an environment like this creates for b2b collections.”
On July 12-13, 2009, members of the IACC will gather in Las Vegas for the 21st Annual Mid-Year Management Conference. It will focus on the latest in commercial collection laws, b2b collection agency trends and more. From an introduction to first-party collection services to how to stay competitive in the collection RFP process, speakers and panelists will engage industry leaders in several interactive, fast-paced workshops and sessions.
“When the economic seas are stormy, you need leaders emerging to help steady the ship,” Mann added. “That’s why the IACC gathers as many members as we can each year from all over the world for this event. This year, more than ever, we’ll need to cull every ounce of wisdom and insight that you have at your disposal when your membership spreads to more than 20 countries across the planet. We’re excited to get everyone in the same room so we can continue tackling the industry’s most pressing issues together.”
