Successful industry veteran, Jim Richards, recently partnered with Cindy Armstrong, Doug Sawyer and Mark Detrick to form Capio Partners, LLC. This experienced team selected Ontario Systems’ Artiva product and an integrated VoIP telephony platform to launch and grow their new venture.
“We have benefited from a successful partnership with Ontario Systems for more than a decade,” said Richards, Capio’s president and chief executive. “Ontario Systems consistently provides a platform for us to grow our business, and it is backed by outstanding service.”
Capio is focused on buying and servicing healthcare debt. With 40 collectors working in a 30,000 square-foot facility, the business expects to hire 250 employees and invest $100 million in healthcare debt purchases within three years.
“When you are launching a new business with aggressive growth goals, you can’t afford to take a chance with your technology platform,” said Cindy Armstrong, Capio’s chief operating officer. “We are confident that the Artiva platform and Ontario Systems’ expertise will enable us to reach our goals, just as they have in the past.”
“Ontario Systems is extremely excited to, once again, partner with an industry leader like Jim and his team,” said Mike Meyer, Ontario Systems’ vice president for sales. “Partnering with companies such as Caprio leverages each company’s expertise to produce a win/win environment. Our collective success is mutually linked.”
Capio specializes in buying and collecting self-pay debt from hospitals and from hospital affiliates specializing in the areas of pathology, radiology, anesthesiology and emergency room service. Capio’s headquarters is in Atlanta and its collection operations are located in Sherman, Texas.
Ontario Systems provides debt collection software to organizations that manage large volumes of accounts receivables. These include hospitals, collection agencies, collection attorneys and bankcard issuers.
