TransUnion today announced that CDS Software has integrated TransUnion’s Collections Prioritization Engine (CPE) into its CollectOne platform. The integration enables collection agencies to embed TransUnion’s data directly into CPS’ CollectOne platform so that their agents have valuable database information contained within a central location.
"Driving efficiencies to the bottom line is key to any businesses’ success," said Mark Bergmann, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at CDS Software. "As a result, the ability to identify which consumers can and cannot pay and prioritizing them accordingly through TransUnion’s CPE is an attractive capability to offer the collection industry through our CollectOne platform."
TransUnion’s CPE helps credit grantors and third-party collections agencies reduce the time and expense spent on recovery efforts by leveraging highly predictive data and expert analytic capabilities to identify uncollectable accounts and rank-ordering those accounts most likely to be recovered.
CDS Software’s CollectOne software allows collections organizations to download this account information to run dialer campaigns, process payment information and mail letters all from the desktop. It also tracks the history of each debtor account, including phone calls made and received, letters sent, credit reports, skip trace information, match and tie accounts and payment history among other functions.
"Collection agencies often access the data that drives their businesses through companies like CDS Software and our partnership integrates TransUnion data right into their work flows to help them achieve more efficiency in their collection portfolios," said Kevin Derbyshire, director of business development for TransUnion. "Given their legacy and industry reputation, we are excited TransUnion’s CPE was integrated into their CollectOne platform."
