CR Software LLC (CRS), the leading financial software solutions provider to collections entities, announces today, enhanced security functionality within Titanium ORE, CR Software’s best-in-class, next generation flagship product.
One of the many features of the Titanium Open Receivables Environment (ORE) is the ability to design and publish custom pages in a matter of minutes. Custom pages can be tied to the consumer, account, creditor, department, and several other major entities to extend what data is tracked and provide the ability to use this data within automated workflows and reports.
With the release of Titanium ORE 3.0, CR Software customers can now dictate which users can view custom page information as well as which ones can edit it. This is referred to as “instance level security” and serves as a very powerful access control mechanism for custom pages and elsewhere throughout the system. Therefore, management can decide what actions various groups of users can take, as well as what specific data is available to them on a case by case basis. As an example, a customer could create an internal scoring metrics page to attach to the consumer record if there was a need to track custom scoring information in addition to what Titanium ORE provides. The customer can configure Titanium ORE to only allow top management the ability to view this information. Accounts could then be segmented to agents to work, reports can be built using the drag and drop report builder, targeted calling campaigns can be created, and a host of actions can be taken via workflow all based on this information.
In addition to many other data types, custom pages now support encrypted fields. Data elements that are marked as such will be encrypted down at the field level. Titanium ORE will automatically manage the encryption/decryption and also provide masked and hashed versions of the data for display and searching.
“Titanium is without a doubt the most secure commercial software product in the ARM software market today. I strongly believe that both the private and public sectors will be mandating tougher protections in the not-so-distant future. The levels of security provided by Titanium ORE are necessary to protect the livelihood of CR Software’s customers, and will most likely be a requirement in order to just do business before long,” says Ed Wallen, CIO of CR Software. “Insider attacks can expose organizations to significant financial losses, negative publicity, and fines for compliance violations. The fact of the matter is that personal data is valuable and must be tightly controlled. Titanium’s support for encryption in transit, encryption at rest, central authentication, and granular authorization protect our customers’ systems from being compromised by both the external attacker as well as the malicious insider.”
