Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. (FAMS) is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Cleveland as the Director of Operations for its Portland, Oregon operations center.
Mr. Cleveland has 22 years accounts receivable management experience, including 12 years in management positions. He began his career in 1987 at Associated Bureaus as a medical division collector where he was employed for nine years. During his tenure at Associated Bureaus he was promoted to a supervisor in charge of bankcard accounts and then to Production Manager working with clients such at at&t, Chase Manhattan, Chevy Chase, Wachovia, Wakota Bank, Monogram Bank and Chemical Bank. Most recently Mr. Cleveland held the position of Assistant Vice President of Operations for Allied Interstate. Throughout his employment at Allied Interstate Mr. Cleveland dedicated his attention to the U.S. Department of Education contract where he successfully helped the company move from 10th place to a 2nd place ranking. He has also held management positions with Credit Union Recovery and was President/Owner of Quality Collection Services, Inc. Additionally, he was employed as a legal collector with Messerli & Kramer P.A. collecting on a Capital One portfolio.
Mr. Cleveland attended National College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
